Aside from a brief stand-in as a player in 2020, he continued coaching the team throughout the rest of his tenure.<\/p>\n<p>While Polly was initially the head coach of the CS:GO squad, he moved back to an assistant role after Jakub &#8220;\u2060kuben\u2060&#8221; Gurczynski joined the team in mid-2022. <\/p>\n<p>During his stint as an assistant coach, Apeks enjoyed a significant resurgence. Having withdrawn from all competitions in August 2022, the team returned in top form at the start of 2023 after replacing French star Richard &#8220;\u2060shox\u2060&#8221; Papillon with Damjan &#8220;\u2060kyxsan\u2060&#8221; Stoilkovski. <\/p>\n<p>Apeks recorded significant improvement in the online scene during this period, securing second-place finishes in two consecutive CCT West Europe Series.
