PENTANET.GG vs CHIEFS ESPORTS CLUB OPL SPLIT 2 BETTING PREVIEW

Pentanet.GG and Chiefs Esports Club will meet yet again on Friday in the second round of playoffs in League of Legends Oceanic Pro League (OPL) Split 2.

Chiefs fans can’t be too excited about their team’s performance through the 2020 season. Having bowed out in the OPL Split 1 semi-finals, this term they fell to tied-fourth with a 12-9 record. That marks Chiefs’ worst win-loss tally since the Oceanic Pro League transitioned to a triple round-robin format at the start of 2019, and their worst-ever finish in a regular season.

Despite all that, Chiefs entered the playoffs as one of the favourites to reach the finals. For that to happen, however, the four-time OPL champions will need more from their key players in mid laner Brandon “Claire” Nguyen and ADC Robert “Katsurii” Gouv.

While Claire’s 4.4 KDA, 8.3 CSPM, and +85 GD @15 suggest he’s had a decent split, those marks are well below expectations for one of the most talented players in the region. And although Katsurii’s 5.5 KDA and 8.2 CSPM look solid, his league-worst figures of GD @ 15 (-81), CSD @ 15 (-12) and XPD @ 15 (-185) highlight his vulnerability in the laning phase.

Hoping to stop Chiefs in their tracks will be Pentanet.GG, who entered the 2020 season as one of the most exciting teams in the OPL due to the arrival of Jackson “Pabu” Pavone and ADC Mark “Praedyth” Lewis. Both players have performed well so far, averaging 4.2 and 4.6 KDAs respectively, while their teammates have also delivered the goods.

Support Jake “Rogue” Sharwood ended the split with the second-highest KDA (4.8) in his role and the highest WPM (1.57) out of all players in the league, playing a pivotal role in Pentanet.GG’s superb vision control. Brandon “BioPanther” Alexander had the highest marks out of all top laners (4.3 KDA), while mid laner Jarod “Getback” Tucker showcased just how potent his Kassadin pocket pick (100% win rate, 23.0 KDA) can be.

Those strong individual efforts helped Pentanet.GG claim third place with a 13-8 record and 62% win rate. However, they have a few questions to answer after their humiliating 1-3 loss to ORDER in the first round of the playoffs.

As the final score would suggest, the match was fairly one-sided even though Pentanet.GG won the opening map convincingly. They fell apart in the remaining three games and looked surprisingly bad in the final bout, which they lost in just 25:34 with a -12.3k gold deficit.

PENTANET.GG vs CHIEFS ESPORTS CLUB OPL SPLIT 2 BETTING PREDICTIONS

Chiefs ESC have made it to the OPL grand finals in eight of the competition’s 11 splits to date, so it makes sense to expect another deep run this term. Having said that, they don’t look anywhere near as solid this year as they have in the past.

Claire is not playing at the level expected of him. While the Chiefs mid laner’s numbers are better than those of Getback, the difference is marginal. Also, Pabu has been statistically a better jungler than Park “Croc” Jong-hoon, so things could get a bit scrappy for Chiefs in that matchup. Even the top lane looks to be ever so slightly in favour of Pentanet.GG, while Katsurii’s strong showing against Dire Wolves suggests Chiefs have a slight edge in the bottom lane.

When it comes to individual quality and objective control, these sides look equally matched. Chiefs are a little more aggressive than Pentanet.GG, who tend to focus more on scaling and the late-game, but there is not a lot to separate the two.

This match will likely come down to which team can execute their drafts better, so there is no point in siding with the favourites. Chiefs are not nearly as likely to win as the odds would suggest, making Pentanet.GG the far more appealing option in the head-to-head betting.

CHIEFS ESPORTS CLUB vs DIRE WOLVES OPL SPLIT 2 BETTING PREVIEW

Dire Wolves and Chiefs Esports Club, two of the most successful teams in the League of Legends Oceanic Pro League (OPL), are scheduled to meet on the Summoner’s Rift this Friday during the seventh week of OPL Split 2.

After making it to the grand finals of OPL Split 1, a lot of expectations were put on Dire Wolves ahead of Split 2, however, they failed to impress during the opening week, when they lost to Legacy Esports and Avant. Further down the line, Dire Wolves picked up another defeat against Chiefs Esports Club during the third week of the split and lost their rematch with Legacy at the end of June.

On a more positive note, those are also the only four losses Dire Wolves have suffered thus far, meaning they are holding onto a respectable 8-4 record, one win behind the league frontrunners Legacy Esports.

Last week, the Wolfpack defeated Pentanet.GG and Gravitas, both in a rather convincing fashion. Against Gravitas, Dire Wolves picked up 21 kills to eight and nine turrets to one, while they also claimed four drakes and one Baron as opposed to Gravitas who did not manage to take down any neutral objectives. Much of the same happened against Pentanet.gg, who managed only four kills, three turrets and two drakes against Dire Wolves, who ended the game with 16 kills, 11 turrets, three drakes and one Baron.

Despite their early struggles, Dire Wolves managed to regain some stability and now look like a well-rounded team. They pride themselves with above-average numbers in all three elements of the game – farming, aggressiveness, and vision control. Wolfpacks biggest strength, however, is their strong objective control, which in most part is thanks to strong performances of mid laner Ari “Shok” Greene-Young and ADC Ha “Vital” In-seong.

On the other side of the Rift, we will see Chiefs Esports Club, who have found themselves in an unenviable position following their losses to ORDER and MAMMOTH last week. Although Chiefs are still in the race for the playoffs berth, their 7-5 record is not what you would expect to see from the four-time OPL champions.

Ahead of the second split of the season, Chiefs were regarded as the team who would rival Legacy Esports for the title, and while they had an excellent opportunity to catch up to the reigning OPL champions following Legacy’s stumble against ORDER, MAMMOTH and Pentanet.gg, Brandon “Claire” Nguyen and co. failed to deliver and now sit tied-fourth with Pentanet.gg.

Looking back at their loss to ORDER, Chiefs underperformed across the board. They managed only 10 kills, three turrets, two drakes and a Baron, while ORDER picked up 28 kills, 10 turrets and five drakes. Somehow Chiefs managed to look even worse against MAMMOTH last Saturday, ending the game with only eight kills and two turrets while MAMMOTH picked up 25 kills, eight turrets, four drakes and a Baron.

Mid-season slumps are nothing out of the ordinary so perhaps it’s not fair to criticise Chiefs too much for their iffy displays, but at the same time, it’s difficult to be overly optimistic about Chief’s chances to go 2-0 this week, since they need to face both of the last split’s finalists one after the other.

CHIEFS ESPORTS CLUB vs DIRE WOLVES OPL SPLIT 2 BETTING PREDICTIONS

Chiefs Esports Club and Dire Wolves last met on Saturday, June 20, when the former won with relative ease. They finished the game with +14 kill differential, 11 turrets to one, four drakes to one and over 10k gold lead.

Even though there is no denying Chiefs looked far better in their last bout against Dire Wolves, it seems like the esports bookmakers are putting too much emphasis on that win. Chefs are entering this match as heavy favourites and we don’t feel like the $2.06 offered on the Wolfpack does them justice.

Throughout the split, both teams have been showing similar numbers and while Chiefs tend to be more aggressive, Dire Wolves have better objective control, which is arguably far more valuable, especially if we take into account both teams usually play longer games (+32 min).

Both Chiefs and Dire Wolves field some of the biggest Oceanic LoL talents, so its hard to expect anything less than a close affair, but considering how shaky Chiefs have been performing last week, we will gladly take our chances with the underdogs here.

Riot Games Oceania has partnered up with Denmark-based audio solutions & technology company EPOS, formerly known as Sennheiser Communications, for the second split of the Oceanic Pro League (OPL) in 2020.

As a part of the deal, EPOS will become the official audio partner for the premier League of Legends esports competition in Australia and New Zealand for the remainder of the season and into 2021. This is just one of many big business moves EPOS have made in the past few months, coming on the heels of partnerships with prominent esports tournament organisers BLAST, German esports organisation SK Gaming and Danish esports organisation North.

“The continued growth of the OPL in Split 1 was fantastic to see and we are thrilled to bring EPOS on board as an Official Partner to support and enhance the OPL,” said Daniel Ringland, Head of Riot Games in Oceania.

“As a business, we want to work with leaders in their field and when it comes to Audio, EPOS have incredible technology and products that will deliver an exceptional audio performance to the league.”

The second split of OPL began on Friday, June 5, featuring Legacy Esports, Chief Esports, Dire Wolves, Avant Gaming, Pentanet.GG, ORDER, MAMMOTH and Gravitas. The only notable changes for the current split is the move to an online format, meaning all teams will play their games either from the organisation-owned gaming houses or players’ homes.

This new partnership is a huge move for both EPOS and the OPL, as sponsorships have become a paramount concern in Oceanic esports.

In November, ahead of the 2020 season, Riot Games Oceania announced that OPL teams would no longer receive financial support, while the minimum player salary of AUD $14,320 per year (US $10k) was scrapped. This means OPL teams now have to rely on sponsorship funding to cover operational costs and player wages.

“EPOS strive to unleash human potential and give gaming another dimension through powerful audio solutions and we are very excited to be working with Riot Games,” said Maja Fr?lunde Sand-Grimnitz, Head of Global Marketing for Gaming at EPOS.

“As a business, we bring 115 years of audio expertise to the OPL partnership and we want to enhance the league by delivering our state-of-the-art audio equipment to ensure a high-end audio experience for all involved.”

EPOS has become the third big-brand company to link with the OPL as a sponsor. Neosurf signed on as a league partner in April, while McDonald’s will remain as gameday sponsors until the end of 2020.

DIRE WOLVES vs ORDER OPL SPLIT 1 PLAYOFFS BETTING PREVIEW

ORDER and Dire Wolves will meet on the Summoner’s Rift this Friday in a rematch of their clash in last year’s Oceanic Pro League (OPL) Split 2 playoffs, where Wolves came out ahead 3-1.

Given that Ronan “rare7” Swingler and co. have already defeated Dire Wolves once this split, there is a sense of optimism in the ORDER camp. Although Wolves have won two of their three meetings this season, ORDER’s victory in their last encounter hints at a slight shift in the balance of power.

ORDER produced a decent run through the split to clinch a top-four finish with a 12-9 record. Although they shared that ledger with Wolves, an inferior head-to-head record prevented them from claiming the third seed and a bye into the upper bracket.

While a 12-9 record shows only a 57% win rate, ORDER closed out the regular season with five consecutive wins to enter the playoffs as one of the hottest teams in the league. That form shone through in the first round of the lower bracket, where top laner Brandon “Swip3rR” Holland and jungler Jordan “Only” Middleton starred in a 3-1 win against AVANT.

SEE ALSO: HOW TO BET ON LEAGUE OF LEGENDS

While ORDER will be hoping to see the same level of contribution from their top-side duo in the second round, Dire Wolves will do their best to prevent Swip3rR from playing at his pace. The 25-year-old OPL veteran caused Dire Wolves severe headaches in their most recent clash, where he took over the match on Renekton and, with the help of rare7 on Kalista, sealed the deal in under 30 minutes.

Despite that underwhelming showing in Week 10, Dire Wolves enjoyed solid split and finished in the top three with a 12-9 record. Their run through the final two competitive weeks was not particularly promising, however, as they lost four fixtures in a row. Two were against the league frontrunners Legacy Esports and Chiefs EC, for which we can give them some slack, but the losses against Gravitas and ORDER are slightly concerning.

Dire Wolves faced off against Chiefs EC in the upper bracket of the OPL Split 1 playoffs, where they started strong and picked up the first map thanks to a phenomenal performance from Ari “Shok” Greene-Young on Corki in the mid lane. The next three maps, however, were a complete contrast, as Wolves failed to destroy a single turret and captured nothing but a lone Cloud Drake.

DIRE WOLVES vs ORDER OPL SPLIT 1 PLAYOFFS BETTING PREDICTIONS

Although Dire Wolves looked stronger than ORDER throughout most of OPL Split 1, there is no reason to have them priced as favourites here. Not only did Wolves lose to ORDER in the final week of the split, but they have clearly hit a slump.

Dire Wolves enter this match with a five-game losing streak, while ORDER are flying high with an 8-1 record in their last five maps. Momentum will play a crucial role here and if Swip3rR and rare7 can show up once more, ORDER should have this one in the bag.

CHIEFS ESPORTS CLUB vs DIRE WOLVES OPL SUMMER SPLIT PLAYOFFS BETTING PREVIEW

Chiefs Esports Club and Dire Wolves are set to meet on the Summoner’s Rift this Friday in round one of the League of Legends Oceanic Pro League (OPL) 2020 Summer Split playoffs.

Dire Wolves have made it to the OPL playoffs for the second split in a row thanks to their solid 12-9 run through the regular season. Although far off league frontrunners Legacy Esports (18-3) and Summer Split runners-up Chiefs Esports Club (17-4), Wolves have proved to be one of the most consistent teams in the league due to their lack of obvious flaws.

Having said that, Dire Wolves losses to Legacy, Chiefs, Avant and ORDER in Week 9 and Week 10 were less an inspiring. We must consider, however, that Wolves had nothing left to fight for in the final weeks, so a lack of motivation might explain their dip in form.

Dire Wolves held on well this split despite losing two key players in the off-season. Their top laner Brandon “BioPanther” Alexander left for Pentanet.GG, while their star ADC Robert “Katsurii” Goouv jumped ship and will be standing on the opposite of the map this week.

Katsurii alone gives Chiefs a healthy advantage in this matchup, but that is not the only thing that will make Dire Wolves uneasy. Chiefs won two of their three meetings in the regular season, including their clash in the final week.

Chiefs enjoyed a successful start to the season, as they produced a perfect 10-0 run through the opening five weeks. Romeo “Thien” Tran and his crew slowed down a bit in the final five weeks, however, and lost their last match of the split to cede top spot to Legacy Esports. Nonetheless, with a 17-4 record under their belt, Chiefs remain a very serious threat for the OPL Summer title.

CHIEFS ESPORTS CLUB vs DIRE WOLVES OPL SUMMER SPLIT PLAYOFFS BETTING PREDICTIONS

The question we have to ask ourselves here is not whether Chiefs Esports Club can win, but rather if Dire Wolves are capable of causing any serious damage to the favourites.

A poor run through the last two weeks in the regular season makes it hard to side with the underdogs. What’s more, one of those four defeats came against Chiefs, which raises the question of whether we can expect a different outcome here.

It is worth noting, however, that Dire Wolves fought well in their most recent meeting with Chiefs and were even 12-4 up in kills by the 20-minute mark. While they did end up choking, Wolves showed a glimpse of what they can do. If they enter the playoffs with a slightly better team-fighting plan, Chiefs might be in for a tough match.

Dire Wolves are priced at very generous +137 odds to cover a +1.5 map handicap, which seems like an achievable goal. Chiefs, while the stronger team on paper, have shown some flashes of instability in the early game, which will give Wolves a great opportunity to get ahead and snowball their lead.

PENTANET.GG vs AVANT OPL SPRING SPLIT BETTING PREVIEW

A spot in the playoffs is on the line as Pentanet.GG and Avant Gaming clash this Friday in the final competitive week of the League of Legends Oceanic Pro League (OPL) 2020 Summer Split.

Pentanet.GG enter Week 9 with a 6-9 record to sit fifth in the league standings, a win behind ORDER and one ahead of their next opponents. While Jarrod “Getback” Tucker and co. have struggled to find any real consistency, they have shown just enough to keep themselves in contention for a top-five finish.

Pentanet had quite a difficult schedule in Week 8, where they lost to two league frontrunners in Chiefs Esports Club and Dire Wolves. They were far from embarrassed, however, and might have beaten Wolves had they drafted more late-game options.

Avant, too, have left a lot to be desired with their performances this split, as an underwhelming 5-11 record leaves them in sixth place. That said, Avant kept their playoff dreams alive last week when they pocketed an upset win against Chiefs.

A strong teamfight-oriented draft and solid individual displays were the key factors in the win over Chiefs. The standout player was Avant’s rookie jungler, Thomas “LeeSA” Ma, who has endured an inconsistent season but pulled out the bug guns when it mattered.

That result has given Dragon “Dragku” Guo and his crew a huge morale boost heading into the final week of the split, where they will have to produce nothing less than a perfect 2-0 run to reach the playoffs.

PENTANET.GG vs AVANT OPL SPRING SPLIT BETTING PREDICTIONS

Pentanet.GG enter this bout as heavy favourites with esports betting sites, but we would not count out Avant just yet. While many will mark down their win over Chiefs as a fluke, the quality of that performance suggests there is more to come.

Avant’s chances this Friday may rest on LeeSA, who could be either a huge nuisance for his opponents or a total non-factor. The spotlight will also be on Jesse “Chazz” Mahoney. The Australian mid laner has the potential to become the main carry for the team, but his tendency to play control mages means he focuses more on keeping his team in the game instead of helping them win games.

There are a lot of question marks above Avant ahead of this bout, but the added pressure should inspire this team to new heights. They have already beaten Pentanet this season, so there is no reason they can’t do it again.

PENTANET.GG VS CHIEFS ESPORTS CLUB OPL SPLIT 1 BETTING PREVIEW

In this betting preview, we will take a look at the clash between four-time Oceanic Pro League (OPL) champions Chiefs Esports Club and Pentanet.GG, which will take place on the opening day of the sixth season. This match will mark the first-ever OPL appearance of Pentanet.GG, who have acquired their OPL spot from the now-disbanded Bombers.

Chiefs Esports Club enter the new campaign following a very successful 2019 season, where they finished third in Split 1 and second in Split 2. They narrowly missed out on making their first-ever LoL World Championship appearance after losing to MAMMOTH in Split 2 playoffs.

In a bid to enter the 2020 season of OPL stronger, Chiefs overhauled their roster by signing four new players, only keeping hold of their star top laner Romeo “Thien” Tran. Joining Thien will be mid laner Brandon “Claire” Nguyen and former Dire Wolves ADC Robert “Katsurii” Gouv. Adding to the Australian trio, Chiefs welcomed two Korean players – jungler Park “croc” Jong-hoon and support Kang “KoreaCK” Cheol-gyu.

Alongside the roster changes, Chiefs also parted ways with their support/coach Andy “Cupcake” van der Vyver, who joined Dire Wolves, and signed a Korean-born head coach Christopher “SeeEl” Lee, who previously led Griffith University, UQ Union and Emprox.

Looking at the roster changes, there are more questions than answers, namely the possible communication issues. Croc previously played in China (LGD Gaming) and Japan (Rampage Quintet), while KoreaCK has zero experience playing in a professional LoL esports team.

Seeing how neither have played in a team with English-speaking teammates, there is a possibility neither are proficient enough in English for smooth and efficient communication. That becomes an issue because they play two roles that heavily rely on communicating with their team. Furthermore, KoreaCKs lack of professional experience could be a problem as we don’t know how he will fare when pushed in a competitive environment.

On the other side of the Rift, newcomers Pentanet.GG will field former Bombers support Jake “Rogue” Sharwood, ADC Mark “Praedyth” Lewis from Legacy Esports, former Dire Cubs mid laner Jarod “Getback” Tucker, jungler Paris “Souli” Sitzoukis from ORDER and top laner and ex-Dire Wolves player Brandon “BioPanther” Alexander. Coaching the quintet will be former Excel Esports analyst Scott “Westonway” Farmer, who previously coached Bombers and won the OPL 2019 Split 1 regular season and playoffs.

Looking at the roster, there is not a single player that stands out based on his performance last season. BioPanther was a mediocre top laner at most. He finished 2019 OPL Split 2 with a 57.1% win rate and 2.88 KDA (fourth-worst). Souli we can’t really rank, because he played only one match in Split 2.

Then there is Praedyth, who will have a lot to prove this season. He finished last year’s OPL Split 2 with a 4.8% win rate (1-20) and 2.57 KDA (second-worst). It is worth noting, however, he had played as a top laner for the entirety of his career before switching to ADC in December 2018, which is the hardest role switch to execute efficiently. Last but not least we have Getback, who also had an iffy season in 2019 with a 57.1% win rate, 3.17 KDA, 62.5% KPAR and league-worst CSPM (7.44) in OPL Split 2.

PENTANET.GG VS CHIEFS ESPORTS CLUB OPL BETTING PREDICTIONS

On one side we have Chiefs, who might suffer from communication issues, and on the other we have Pentanet.GG, who field a roster assembled from players of very questionable quality.

This one can go either way, but we are seriously concerned with what Pentanet.GG’s plans for this season are. They dont have a player to carry this team, which will become a serious issue. One of their players will have to step up, but based on what they have shown in 2019, we would not count on it.

With esports bookmakers offering very generous odds on Chiefs, we don’t need to think twice about backing the outsiders here.

Prediction: Chiefs Esports Club to win – +111 at BetOnline

The Oceanic Pro League enters the ninth week of the split this Friday, when we will once again see eight fixtures between the best League of Legends esports teams from the Oceania region.

Chiefs Esports and MAMMOTH have already qualified for the playoffs, but they still have a handful of matches to participate in.

Bombers are also close to securing a post-season run, while several teams are hoping to push into the top five over the next few weeks.

Let’s look at the latest LoL odds and the best bets for this week’s featured OPL clashes.

Chiefs Esports vs Dire Wolves

Chiefs Esports (-714.29), who finished third in the last split, have established themselves as a dominant force in the OPL and will look to keep it that way for years to come.

On Friday, the league leaders will face a Dire Wolves (+400) outfit wanting to break out of a tie for fourth-place and close the gap on the top three.

DW are expected to struggle mightily against Chiefs, just like they did in the last two head-to-head fixtures.

MAMMOTH vs Gravitas

MAMMOTH (-714.29) are currently the second-placed team of the split and should not have too many issues bouncing back from a disastrous week eight.

On day one, Calvin “k1ng” Truong and his squad will take on Gravitas (+400), who are still struggling to find their way into the top five.

Holding onto a 6-10 record, the young team will have to put on the performance of their lives to stand up against MAMMOTH and give themselves a shot at reaching the playoffs.

Bombers vs Avant Gaming

Bombers (-200) and Avant Gaming (+150) will clash on day one in what promises to be an exciting match between the third- and fourth-placed teams in the OPL standings.

The reigning OPL champions are the favourites to walk away victorious, just like they did the last two times they clashed with Avant.

Those meetings, however, were not as one-sided as the odds might suggest, meaning there is a real possibility for Avant to deliver a win at value.

Gravitas vs ORDER

Gravitas (-120.48) and ORDER (-120.48) is another matchup worth taking a look at, as it will feature two teams who share sixth spot on the standings with a 6-10 record.

The last time the two sides met was in week seven, when Gravitas produced a comeback following underwhelming start and won in a bit over 31 minutes.

We can expect another exciting match that could go either way, but ORDER look the better bet to secure the points and edge closer to the top five.

The Oceanic Pro League kicks off the Split one season on January 20 and the competition is set to be the biggest yet.

This season’s format sees the eight teams split in to two groups with teams competing in a double round robin within each group and a single across the two groups.

The Season is scheduled to run for 10 weeks with teams from Australia, New Zealand and surrounding islands battling it out for top honours in League of Legends.

All matches are played best of three in an every game matters point system; where winning 2-0 grants three points for the winning team, winning 2-1 grants two points to the winning team and one point to the loser.

After the split the top five teams advance to the Playoffs and qualify for the 2018 OPL split two while the remaining three will have to refight for their spot in the split two promotion series.

Chiefs Vs Dire wolves – 20/01/2018 C 1pm

Chiefs vs Dire wolves promises to be a cracker and sees the 2017 grand final replayed here in the opening week and is the game to watch.

Chiefs were the infamous team who couldnt be beaten taking out the 2015 and 2016 OPL Split Two Playoffs before Dire Wolves assembled one of the strongest rosters the OPL had seen and became the second ever OPL champions defeating The Chiefs for the 2017 title.

Chiefs game roster Swip3rR in the top lane, Bapip in the jungle, ry0ma in the middle and former Dire wolves player and now strategic coach Phantiks take over from suspended player Raes in the ADC position, with former Dire Wolves player Destiny also on support.

With a new roster the team set up a boot camp in Korea in the preseason to take on Koreas best teams to get to understand the teams strengths and develop new strategies, a move which is being reported as a great success.

Dire Wolves, the defending champions are back, and ready to defend their title the against former champions and runner up The Chiefs. Dire Wolves roster has existing member Chippys in the top lane, Shernfire in the Jungle and K1ng in the ADC position, they also have replaced their former mid Phantiks with Triple from Avant Garde and Cupcake for the support position from team legacy.

The game looks to be a thriller, Dire wolves not having the substitution and based on last year’s performance look to head in as the favorite and should be where your money is at. However Chiefs recent boot camp in Korea may prove to have helped bridge the gap between the teams.

Prediction and place bet: Dire Wolves to win this $1.48 at Pinnacle.com

Tectonic Vs Order – 20/01/2018 C 4pm

Tectonic vs Order looks to be a clear-cut game with Order being the new team in the competition coming in with a power house team of old faces. With Tally in the top lane, Spookz in the jungle, Swiffer in the mid lane, FBI as ADC and Rogue as the teams support.

Tectonic are also a new team that qualified in the losers bracket of the play offs after losing to the now rebranded Bombers. The team features Papryze in the top lane, Swathe in the jungle, Shok in the mid lane, Low as ADC and Tilting as the teams support.

Prediction and place bet: Take Order with the -1.5 handicap at $1.381 at Pinnacle.com

Sin Gaming Vs Legacy Esports – 21/01/2018 C 1pm

Sin Gaming Vs Legacy Esports is an even match on paper that could go either way. Long time Legacy player Carbon is taking the back seat now as he moves to a managerial position and substitute making way for the next generation of legacy players.

This game we can expect Ceres in the top, Sybol in the jungle, Claire in the mid lane and Raid as ADC with Decoy as the team’s support.

Sin gaming come in to this game the underdog on paper. The expected team is Praedyth in the top lane, Juves in the Jungle, Bdoink in mid and Dream as the ADC. Both support and substitute support are on suspension, so it is not currently known who will be filling the support position.

This is Legacys game to lose and on any normal day they win this take, but Sin Gaming definitely have the ability to take a game out of the three.

Prediction and place bet: Legacy for the win at Pinnacle at $1.22 or if you are feeling like a curve ball take Sin with the +1.5 handicap at $2.17.

Bombers Vs Avant Garde – 21/01/2018 C 4pm

The team getting the most media attention at the moment is the Bombers which is the Essendon Football Club of the AFLs eSports branch.

The team comes up against the historic team of Avant Garde.

The final team rosters are yet to be confirmed for the game and Avant Garde comes in as favorite by the bookies but you can expect the Bombers side to come out strong after the work that has been put in from the football club. Both team’s are impacted by suspensions however the large roster of the Bombers should ensure it doesnt affect their side greatly.

First week its hard to call, but it’s hard to see the Bombers at least not taking a game.

Prediction and place bet: Take the Bombers with the +1.5 Handicap at $1.61 with Pinnacle.com.
