?Evil Geniuses have been playing well this split, but you have to approach betting on them with caution, especially in games where they’re priced as betting favourites. Although a stacked roster, EG have become known for losing against weaker teams, which is a trait as synonymous with this squad as it’s their ability to smash any of the top LCS teams.
Last week, EG demolished the current LCS 2021 Summer leaders, TSM, only to struggle against Dignitas the next day, which is a perfect example of EG’s tendency to 50/50 their bouts. This could give Counter Logic Gaming a chance to bounce back after a rocky start of the split, winning only four out of 12 games (4-8).
CLG lost all three of their fixtures last week, albeit managed a perfect 3-0 run prior, with wins against 100 Thieves, Evil Geniuses and Dignitas. With these two teams, you never know what to expect, but given EG’s shakiness, siding with CLG to secure their second head-to-head victory of the summer season is the right call at this price.

?It’s very difficult to say how good TSM really are. They have the talent to compete for the title, but their decision making is atrocious, to say the least. This team will gain advantages purely off a stronger laning phase and blunder it all with very questionable Drake/Baron calls.
On the other side, we have Immortals, who can’t compare to TSM on the individual level, but play much cleaner LoL and are currently performing like one of the top-five teams in the league. They might have lost against 100 Thieves on Sunday, but IMT are still 4-1 in their last five and are 7-5 on the summer season.
The esports bookmakers have priced TSM at only $1.52, implying that they should win 66% of the time, which seems a bit off. Immortals are underestimated at these odds.

?Cloud9 have yet to find their footing this split (6-6), but if their LCS 2021 Summer season stats are any indication, they should get back on their feet sooner or later. Numbers rarely mean much if the team is underperforming on the Summoner’s Rift, but we wouldn’t sleep on this team.
Team Liquid have benched their top laner, replaced him with an academy player, and released their coach. And despite all the chaos, Liquid have done well enough to go 4-2 across the last two weeks.
This shows just how stable Team Liquid are as a roster, which is largely thanks to their veteran players, who kept the team focused. This also suggests that we shouldn’t put too much weight on the internal struggles Liquid have been dealing with over the weeks.
TL and C9 are priced at even money for this bout, which seems fair, as there is not much to set them apart. However, we aren’t too excited about C9’s lack of attention to early drakes (0.83 Average Dragons at 15 min), which could tip the scale in TL’s favour as a team that averages 1.42 drakes at 15 min.

GOLDEN GUARDIANS vs DIGNITAS LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |

?Removing Joshua “Dardoch” Hartnett from the organisation won’t do Dignitas any favours since they intentionally parted ways with their best player. He was supposedly toxic, so perhaps it will help with the synergy, but it comes at a price of the overall team quality.
Since Matthew “Akaadian” Higginbotham replaced Dardoch as the starting jungler, Dignitas went 1-4. The only team they managed to defeat during that stretch were FlyQuest, but have looked terrible in their losses.
This prediction is not so much about Golden Guardians being a better team than Dignitas, but more about Dignitas performing worse. DIG still have more individual talent on the roster, but with the way they’ve been playing of late, they shouldn’t be priced as low as $1.63 against a team that beat them just two weeks ago.
