ESL Pro League Season 9 Europe continues this Wednesday as HellRaisers take on Fnatic in the second round.
HellRaisers reached the finals at WePlay! Forge of Masters Season 1 by beating Vega Squadron in the semi-finals, but had to admit defeat to AVANGAR in the decider. Still, they had a good run, as they finished the regular season in joint-first place with AVANGAR, losing only one match against Vega Squadron in round three.

The Ukrainian side also attended the ESL One Cologne 2019 Europe Closed Qualifier, but failed to reach the main draw. They won against Chaos, but two losses to Heroic and AVANGAR saw them exit the tournament early.

HellRaisers have played three matches so far in this year’s Pro League, winning two against BIG and ex-3DMAX. The match they lost was against Astralis, the number one team according to the HLTV rankings.
Fnatic have won only one match in Season 9, which was a 2-1 triumph against Windigo. Sadly, they failed to repeat that success against Natus Vincere (2-1) and G2 (2-0).
Nonetheless, Fnatic have quite a successful IEM Sydney 2019 campaign behind them. They started the tournament with a 16-7 win over Heroic, followed by a 2-0 defeat to MIBR in a BO3 series. The next two matches were against lower-ranked opposition, Chiefs and Grayhound, who both fell 2-1. The London-based esports franchise then defeated Ninjas in Pyjamas and NRG to tee up a finals clash with North American powerhouse Team Liquid, but went down 3-2 in a tight BO5 match.
HellRaisers vs Fnatic betting predictions
The odds favour Fnatic, who are paying around -200 to win the match. That price seems fair, as they are definitely the better team and in way better form.
As for the Over/Under market, the odds are leaning toward Under 2.5 maps, which is reasonable as Fnatic are expected to win in two straight maps. But they have lost a lot of maps to teams ranked lower than them recently, so there is a good chance we will see HellRaisers win at least one map.
That said, Fnatic should win. They were amazing at IEM Sydney 2019 and will want to build on that with a confident performance here.
