Heroic extended their unbeaten streak by defeating MOUZ in the upper-bracket final of Group B in ESL Pro League Season 17, advancing the Danes to the quarter-finals.
Both Heroic and MOUZ were by far the best two teams in the group, with the two rosters dropping only one map between their first two series.
The upper-bracket final was a very close game; even though Heroic won 2-0, they had to work for it, with Nuke finishing 16-12 and Inferno going all the way to round 30, finishing 16-14.

Heroic entered Group B as the overwhelming favourite to win the group with esports betting sites, so it comes as no surprise that they did.
Along with Heroic and MOUZ, FURIA Esports and Movistar Riders also qualified for the playoffs, defeating BIG in the mid-bracket and lower-bracket finals, respectively.
MOUZ will advance to the round of 12 as one of the high seeds, while FURIA and Movistar will advance to the round of 16, the latter as one of the lower seeds.
With Group B completed, we move on to Group C, which features three teams in the top 10 of the ESL world rankings: FaZe Clan (no.4), Team Vitality (no.6), and OG (no.8).
